Our vertical sliding sash windows are a perfect combination of ingenious engineering and immense practicality. Replacing old sash windows usually comes down to the fact they have unfortunately come to the end of their life. Tired, draughty and lacking the required heat retention of thermally efficient windows.

Our range of UPVC vertical sliding sash windows brings together the best of both worlds in a design that replicates the original look and features of the classic sash – right down to Georgian style horns and period brassware – with the precision fit, low maintenance and brilliant thermal performance of UPVC.

Just like original timber sliding sash windows, the top and bottom casements of our new UPVC sliding sash windows can be opened, allowing for ease of access for cleaning or maintenance. They are also highly effective at allowing a steady stream of ventilation into your home.

Our sliding sashes offer great compression when closed using innovative brush seals, meaning the sash will slide tight when shut keeping your home warm and extremely energy efficient.

A combination of a triple chambered profile, low E glass and the brush seals gives U values as low as 1.3 making these windows highly energy efficient whilst providing a visually stunning product.

Glass upgrade options

Acoustic.

Acoustic glass considerably reduces outside noise, especially near busy areas such as motorways, main roads or airports. We use two varying thickness of glass, providing increased sound insulation.

Toughened.

Toughened glass is up to five times as strong as ordinary glass which means that it has to be hit much harder to break, If it does break, it cracks into small pieces, which are much less dangerous.

Laminated.

Laminated glass has the same strength as standard glazing but includes a plastic interlayer. If the glass gets broken this layer holds the whole pane in place so that there is no hole in the window and no chance intruders can enter.

Triple glazing.

If you want to keep as much heat in your home as possible triple glazed windows are the way forward. That’s not to say that double glazing isn’t effective it’s just that the additional pane of glass will help retain more heatwaves.
