Window/Door/Conservatory Installers
Direct Window Co are now recruiting window, door or conservatory installers, due to a major expansion in our retail division.
Your role will include the installation of windows, conservatories or doors in domestic properties throughout the North West area on a self employed basis.
Previous experience is essential. Ideally, applicants should have their own van (however we can supply a van).
Public Liability Insurance is mandatory. All sizes of teams/gangs will be considered. Uniform is provided.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic production assistant to help oversee a busy manufacturing process. You must have experience in manufacturing UPVC windows, doors and conservatories.
The candidate must possess good management skills and the ability to lead from the front. Past experience running a committed workforce is a necessity.
The main purpose of the role will be to lead, facilitate and pro-actively drive all UPVC manufacturing activities.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring optimum levels of production are achieved.
- Improve site efficiencies to an optimum level.
- Driving improvements in a multi-skilled environment whilst achieving deadlines.
The ideal Manufacturing Assistant Manager will have a machining/ fabricating background and will have sound understanding of a factory environment, on top of strong leadership qualities.

Production Operative

Main Purpose
We are looking for Production Operatives to work within our modern manufacturing production facility, as part of the operations team within a busy assembly line fabricating and creating window, door and conservatory components to meet our customers requirements.

Monday – Friday 7.30 – 4.30 shift pattern.

Glass Cutter Operative

The Direct brand is recognised regionally for quality and service. The organisation is a family run business who provide the most comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions available for all customer’s with its expertise in home improvement products.
We are currently looking for an experienced glass cutter. The successful applicant would have experience using an auto cutting table and manual cutting of glass. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a glass factory.

Multi Drop Delivery Driver Vacancy x 2
To deliver our products for 3 main divisions, Trade, Newbuild and Retail. You will help with loading and unloading your van / truck with windows, doors, conservatories, roof products. These will be delivered to trade depots, retail customers and new build construction sites. Our vehicles are transit van’s ( long wheeled based ) and 7.5 tonne truck’s. Successful candidates will be put through their CPC course for the 7.5 trucks ( should you not yet have this licence ).
You will be paid for any overtime worked, usual days of work are Mon – Friday .
You are required to have a full UK driving licence,
